Two things worth knowing before you scroll. The most reviewed thing in this catalogue, with 33,484 reviews, is also one of the cheapest at 16,49 EUR, which is not how it usually goes. And the best rated of everything is a food tour at 4.98 out of 5, on 6,417 reviews rather than a handful.
The two museum entries here are the only things in this catalogue our own guides tell you not to buy in the general case, and they are listed with that said out loud rather than left out. Plain admission is always cheaper from the museum: 25 euros at the Van Gogh against 39 resold, and at the Rijksmuseum a guided visit costs 32,50 from the museum against 84,77 here. What the platform versions buy is a language, a child under 16, or a date the museum has already filled. The reasoning is on the Rijksmuseum page and the Van Gogh one. The Anne Frank House sells online only and is not resold at all, so it is not here.

How this list is put together
Price, duration, rating and review count are what Viator's own API returned on 21 September 2026, except the Keukenhof shuttle, which carries its own. They are not estimates and they are not opinions. Nobody on this site has taken any of these tours: what we sort and comment on is the evidence behind each one, which is the only part verifiable from the outside. Prices move, so treat them as the figure on that date and check before booking.
The order inside each section is ours and it is not the commission: within the cruises the cheapest comes first, and the one we would book is flagged on the page that compares them, not here. Where a guide on this site concludes that you should not book something, that conclusion stands and the link takes you to it.
About this guide
Written by Diego Fresno, who spent five days in Amsterdam in November 2018 and publishes this guide independently. Checked for this page: the price, duration, rating and review count of every tour listed, from Viator's API on 21 September 2026, except the two that carry their own date. Not checked: the tours themselves. Nobody on this site has taken any of them, so there is no first-hand account here of what any of these are like.
